REACH MINISTRIES MISSIONS - UPDATE

We have had a busy month since our last update. Ministering at five churches, a new school, and met with two new ministers about future work, and had a great discipleship call with our friends in Pakistan. The teams are growing and just added a request for 200 more discipleship books!

We enjoyed a beautiful Easter service with our friends in TOGAN Kitengela where the Holy Spirit moved mightily in bringing out the response Christians must all have for the price Jesus paid with His death and resurrection.

Excitedly, this time included three new partner churches in Ngong, Baraka, and Ongata Rongi, and two where we were able to catch up with dear friends and partners watching how God is growing their churches in Kitengela and Kiambiu! Both partners have been able to construct new church buildings since last year!

God loves to keep us humble so in the middle of all our rushing activities the electric power went down for the city of Nairobi, and we suffered without fans, a fridge, or running hot showers for three days. It was good to get back to our roots of rechargeable battery sources for fans and light. Not to mention the joy of bathing in a bucket of water. We rejoice and.... Praise Jesus for the call and the honor it is to serve His people in Kenya whatever the conditions may be.

Our visit to the Zion Holiness School was amazing. Bishop Monica and the staff are working very hard to keep the vulnerable and at-risk children in school and getting a godly education. This includes the fact that the teachers and Monica are raising 12 of the total orphans at their homes. Keep these precious servants in your prayers for resources, food, and rent so they keep the school in good order!

In other news! The new transmitter for Zuri FM 88.3 is installed and running through our partners we are now reaching hundreds of thousands with the gospel of truth!

The Ekeonga School is almost complete, but the children are already able to enjoy the new classrooms and lunch area!

Julie is celebrating her birthday this month and has already had a wonderful friend come and give her an authentic Kenyan cooking lesson so if you want beef wet fry with sukuma wiki and ugali Julie is capable of making it! In addition, we were able to go see the animals in Amboseli National Park and have our first safari!

Remember to keep our ministry and partners in your prayers. Remember the widows and the orphans. Ask God to guide us as we work on our building projects, the schools, the radio station the discipleship program. Pray that God protects our families. Pray with us that His glory shows up during our meetings and teaches, heals, and delivers His people as we gather in His name. Pray for provisions to come in for the projects, outreach, feeding programs, and there is tremendous pressure on the school kids (and parents) as they return to school for fees and supplies during a down economy. Pray for safety on the roads, there has been a tremendous increase in unnecessary deaths because of careless drivers. Pray for God's provision and supernatural peace for all.

As I end today, I want to thank and honor all of you who support us with your prayers, time, and finances. I pray God blesses and keeps you and yours and fills your life with much fruit!

Love you all,

Richard & Julie
