God Is Good!

God is good all the time, for that is His nature! We have so much to update everyone on since our last publication.

Caught up in a whirlwind! The YWAM Siem Reap team that we hosted from Cambodia kept us so busy with incredible ministry opportunities in May that we are just now getting an opportunity to share about it. We did Soul Winning Seminars with tremendous results, street witnessing bringing in a fruitful harvest, intercessory prayer that paved the way for so much ministry, spent time loving on and entertaining kids at a rescue home, picked up a local celebrity as a new team member after attending her birthday party, ministered in many wonderful churches in the Nairobi area, and left lasting impacts at all the schools they spent time in, hosted a youth conference with 5 churches from 9 different nations attending, and enjoyed so much cultural exchange that we all came away refreshed and full of love for one another.

The YWAM Siem Reap team were dynamic young adults between the ages of 17-24 from Cambodia, Germany, Canada, and the USA. They left many opportunities behind to come and be a blessing in the nation of Kenya. Their love was contagious and we all got infected with their gentle, loving ways. Sweet times of prayer led to very fruitful times of witnessing, soul winning, and follow up. The team really shined at the rescue home and the schools, where they left their hearts as well. The love and encouragement they offered to the young people of Kenya will carry on for a long time.

We had a miraculous solution to our immigration issues and enjoyed much needed time back in the USA in the month of June. We landed in Texas and saw Jim and Cleo and the precious people at Grand Parkway Church. We spent a week with Julie’s mom in Washington and fellowshipped with family and the lovely congregation at San de Fuca Community Chapel. We saw our son, daughter, and her fiancé for a week in OR and got to go to Salem Alliance Church, we wrapped up June by spending two weeks in Hawaii with our daughter and the community at YWAM Honolulu and visiting Blue Water Mission.

God has been truly amazing in this last 6 years. When we consider the relationships, the churches, the wonderful projects and fruit that has come from the teaching and training on prayer, discipleship and the soul winning seminars. All the projects for schools, houses, church buildings, water works, feeding programs and widows training. For the REACH team... we cannot wait to see what God is going to do. As we look forward to returning for our 7th year of ministry, we need our prayer warriors to build the foundation for the outreach we are planning to Tanzania. For the pastoral/leadership retreats we want to host. For the widows, the orphans, the poor and all the new projects we are starting. We can't do any of this without God's leading and direction. At REACH we don't minister in a vacuum but in the midst of the ecclesia, we love and covet your prayers, and support for all that is happening in the harvest fields of our God!

Thank you so much for all you do and we hope to see all of you as we make our way through the rest of the United States before launching out into the white fields of harvest.
