May Celebration & Homecoming

We enjoyed kicking off May with our friends and partners at Dove International. It is always great to see the precious Omondi’s and their wonderful church in Nairobi. They just broke ground on a 24/7 Prayer N Praise Room, which is Phase One of an eventual seven-story Prayer Tower coming in Phase II. We are very excited to partner with them and watch what God is doing in their ministry.
On May 5th, we said goodbye to Jim & Cleo, our missionary partners from Porter, Texas, but not before they took a quick solo trip

down to Kisumu, where they met up with Prophet Levis and went on a road trip to visit Archbishop Philemon and Bishop Mark at the Agape Orphanage, reviewing a project for one of the dorms in Kosele, Kenya. They are true world travelers and end times missionaries! Can you tell we are proud of them?
This trip home marks the end of our 5th year working in Kenya, and what an adventure it has been. Julie and I are back in the US now, helping Julie’s mom settle into the next phase of her life. As she turns 90 years old this July, we want to make sure she has all the friends and support she needs while adjusting to this next stage of overcoming Christian living.

God is in control and manifesting His will and destiny as we continue to serve our partners in Kenya. We had a water pump fail at the Ekeonga School, and our partners in Canada were quick to respond to get Augustus back in business. We are also finalizing several new projects we hope to secure funding for while we are in the USA, visiting our friends and family.
One upcoming effort we are excited about is for Glory Christian Education Center in Mombasa, which will need a facelift for the campus and a new toilet facility for the 360 children currently enrolled. Both projects should be making the project list soon, with an emphasis on making life a better and functional experience for these children!
I want you all to know that God has called our partner, Beatrice, to host several schools and homes for underprivileged children who can’t afford school, food, or clothing. That’s right, some of the young people wouldn’t have a meal every day without school sponsorship, or even a set of clothes to wear without their school uniform.

One great witness story from a coastal school is about two sisters who were attending last year from a Muslim family. They both received Jesus as their Savior from one of the teachers sharing her faith. About two months later, the father came in and wanted to have a conference with the principal to discuss his daughters. The principal was a little worried about this meeting, and when the father came in he went straight to talking about the change they had noticed in the girls. He told them I don’t know what has happened to my girls, but he would like to have that too. could they help him? They led him to meet Jesus right there. Discipleship is living your life so sincerely and on fire for Jesus that other people see what you have and want to have that too!

In addition to our current church building, education, outreach, discipleship efforts and Zuri FM Christian radio, we are also looking at renewing projects with standing partners like Agape Orphanage, Glory Christian schools in Nairobi and Mombasa, Ekeonga Children’s School, Bishop Monica's school at Zion Holiness Ministry, Blessed Generations School in Migori, Pastor Steven in Kiambio slum, The Dorcas Ministry in Obet and our Christmas Care Packs for the widows and orphans. All of these partners have programs serving the lost, the poor, the widows, and the orphans.
We are being called by Jesus to help with a water project for the Olacity School, with our Masai friends. They are working so hard in a poor community where the school not only teaches academics but farming and animal agriculture. The food grown and raised on the

school training farm provides education and farming knowledge; in addition, it is a stable source of nutrition year-round with vegetables, cereals, and meat for the children and staff at the school. We are starting their first project with an 11,000-liter water tank to help in between rainy seasons when the water runs dry.
As we move forward this next year, we are also looking at hosting adult Bible based education with practical short-term conferences and seminars designed to increase the knowledge and skills of many pastors across our partner organizations. God has been growing our partners so that we now have access to over 1000 churches and their pastors in East Africa.
I want to ask all our friends and prayer partners to please stand with us in prayer for:
The lost and dying world.
Peace of Israel.
Prayer for our family.
For the ministry as we enter into the 6th year as REACH Ministries.
The projects & partners abroad.
The newest REACH missionaries, Jim & Cleo Hughes and their family.
Pray for the new opportunities that God is bringing to expand REACH into Tanzania, Uganda, 2 United Nations refugee camps, and Pakistan this next year.
May God bless and keep you until we meet face to face.
Oriti Erokamano (goodbye)
Richard & Julie
